Tamparuli is a small town and a sub-district of Tuaran on the west coast of Sabah, Malaysia. It is populated mainly by native Dusuns, while a sizeable Chinese community runs most of the shops in the town proper. As with many other small towns in Sabah and indeed Malaysia as a whole, the town itself consists of both newer concrete shoplots as well as old wooden ones, which are particularly prone to destruction by fire as evidenced in the destruction of one of the wooden shoplots in recent years.

The most famous landmark in Tamparuli is a long hanging bridge, which is immortalised in the song Jambatan Tamparuli, a popular Kadazandusun song. Another bridge, built for motor traffic, spans the river far below the hanging bridge and is frequently flooded during heavy rain.

Kinabalu Park - Malaysia's first World Heritage Site, is a botanical paradise blessed with an astonishing variety of flora and fauna that ranges over 4 climate zones. While the focus of the Park Is Mount Kinabalu, many visitors come enjoy the serenity of this place.The Park has continually attracted top naturalists and botanists from around the world and been proclaimed an area with the richest diversity of flora and fauna.

Poring is known for its hot sulphur spring bath which was first developed by the Japanese during world war II. The hot waters of the spring are piped into open-air baths. Indoor bathtub is also available for those who preferred privacy. At Poring you could experience the breathtaking treetop walk on the 43m tall canopy walkway.

Early in the morning, you can enjoy the scenic beauty within the vicinity of the Mount Kinabalu area. There is the time to take a best shot in the morning.

Itinerary:
- Day 1
08:30 Pick up from your hotel. Transfer for 2 hours leisurely drive. Stopping at Tamparuli long hanging bridge and Nabalu Market, gives you opportunity to buy local handicrafts and fruits.
10:30 Proceed to Kinabalu Park and join a guided walk around the park and visit the Kinabalu Natural History Gallery.
11:30 Tranfer to kundasang vegetable market and enjoy lunch at Cottage hotel.
13:30 Depart to Poring Hot Spring which about 1 hour passing through scenic countryside, vegetable farms, roadside stalls and smaller interior towns of Sabah.
14:30 Upon arrival, uphill walk through the Borneo tropical rainforest to the 41 meters high tree-top Canopy Walkway bring you back to nature. Hear the chirping calls of birds and insects that will surely relieve the stress of hectic city life. Take a dip in the sulphur water tub which believed to have medicinal value to skin.

16:30 Transfer back to Cottage Hotel. Steamboat Dinner will be served at hotel Overnight at Cottage Hotel.
