Like a forested castle from a fairytale, the villa sits on the hillside on a private island in the Straits of Malacca on the west coast of Malaysia. This gorgeous villa is a wonderful place to escape the modern world for a little while, connecting with nature without having to give up on modern comforts. The villa features a large rock garden untouched by human hands and it is stunning! Wild rainforest, huge rocks, a fabulous private pool and breathtaking ocean views, staying at this luxury villa is soothing for the soul! The living and dining pavilions are facing the ocean and the bedrooms look out over the ancient rainforest. It’s amazing!
The villa houses 4 bedroom bungalows and each bungalow is adjoined to a balcony with rain forest views. Everyone staying at this forest retreat gets to enjoy a whole lot of privacy. The bungalows are scattered around the property hidden away behind giant boulders and canopied by the rainforest. There are 3 outdoor bath pavilions but you can also choose to soak in the communal Japanse Onsen bathtub in the garden, boasting spectacular views of the infinity pool and the viewing deck.
The hot spa pavilion overlooks the swimming pool and the viewing deck and it boasts a Japanese ‘Onsen’ bath where you can soak and relax together. The garden sits on a slope of a hill and there are sandstone and timber staircases getting you from the viewing deck to the lagoon-like infinity swimming pool, the living and dining pavilions and the bedrooms. All the rocks and stones in the garden are shaped by nature and surrounded by native plants and wild orchid flowers. There are ponds and sunbeds and the ambiance is utterly peaceful. Prepare to get totally Zen!
The living and dining pavilions look out over the sea and it is wonderful! Surrounded by raw and wild nature, this villa allows you to experience the best of open-air living. There are comfortable sofas with side tables and you can dine to breathtaking ocean views. The villa also features a giant chess board for some hours of fun in the afternoon (or whenever!)
Every villa has a butler to look after the guests. There is also a private car and driver for those who like to explore the island a bit or head down to the beach for a swim.
