The Kinabatangan River is the second longest river in Malaysia. It is located in Sandakan, Northeastern Sabah. The river stretches out from its headwaters in the mountains of southwest Sabah to its outlet at the Sulu Sea, east of Sandakan. It is one of the natural habitats to a wide variety of wildlife in Borneo. And the river cruise will excites you with wildlife watching while traveling along the river.
Itinerary
Day 1 - Sandakan / Bilit Kinabatangan River
• 1140 am-12:30 pm pick up from respective hotel in Sandakan to the Resort by Land, Kinabatangan River.
• Upon arrival, refreshment will be served followed by briefing featuring the overview of the resort routes and
Safety. Check in.
• At 4.00 pm , river cruise in search of wildlife that is so prevalent in the area – a good chance to see proboscis
monkey, orang utan, pygmy elephants, birds and other wildlife.
• Dinner will be served at the lodge. After dinner and subject to weather conditions, follow our guide for a
night walk at 8.30 pm in search of nocturnal mammals.
• Return to and overnight at the Resort.

Day 2 – Kinabatangan River
• 06:00 am Rise early for “Misty Kinabatangan River Cruise”.
• Breakfast is served at the lodge. After breakfast, at 0900hrs depart resort for jungle trekking (Resort Area).
• Lunch will be served at the resort.
• Late afternoon, enjoy another at 4.00pm, river cruise and try to spot more wildlife before returning to the resort for Dinner.
• After dinner and subject to weather conditions, proceed for a night walk in search of nocturnal mammals.
Overnight at the resort.

Day 3 – Kinabatangan River/Sandakan
• 0600 am Wake up to the calls of gibbons and hornbill. Proceed for another early morning cruise along the
Kinabatangan River.
• Breakfast will be served. After breakfast 08:30 am check out.
• Drop off at the respective hotel in Sandakan or at Sandakan Airport for your onwards flight, estimate time
arrival around 12:00 noon. Preferable flight after 2.00pm
