The biggest attraction in Sabah for tourist all around the world ~ Mount Kinabalu. It’s the highest peak in south-east Asia, measuring 4,095.2 m high. Some say, the Mount Kinabalu is one of the easiest mountain to climb, but don’t underestimate the challenges that you’ll face on the Summit Trail.

Every year, thousands of people from all ages and fitness level conquered the Mount Kinabalu Summit – the secret is stamina. Upon reaching the summit you’ll have the chance to witness an unbeatable sunrise (on clear weather) – your greatest prize for conquering the highest peak in south-east Asia – Mount Kinabalu.

The base at the low peak is well-equipped with facilities. Advance reservation (3 ~ 6 months prior) are HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

An experienced mountain guide will lead no others but you to the peak.

A porter would normally carry up to 10kg at MYR13-MYR16 per kg. Simply ask for porter service on climbing day upon registration.
You may leave the luggage at Kinabalu Park, there will be a charge at MYR 10 per bag per night.
No age limit for kid to join, however, it is recommended at least 5 years old.
Children 16 years old & below will required a personal Mountain Guide @ RM 230 nett guide. Maximum 1 guide for 2 children.

Itinerary
1st Day
06:30am - Pick up from hotel lobby and transfer to Kinabalu Park Headquater.
08:30am - Meet up with co-ordinator at Kinabalu Park Headquater.
08:40am - Register at Kinabalu Park Headquater.
08:50am - Meet the assigned Mountain Guide(s) and Local Pack Lunch will be given.
09:00am - Transfer to Timpohon Gate from Kinabalu Park Headquater.
09:30am - Begin the ascent with your personal mountain guide. The climb will take approximately 4 ~ 6 hrs.
12:00pm - Take a rest and enjoy your packed lunch.
16:00pm - Expected to reach Laban Rata area.
16:30pm - Check-in at the mountain Huts (unisex shared dormitory).
17:00pm - Dinner at Laban Rata Rest House restaurant (Dinner time: 4:30pm - 7pm).
19:00pm - Free at leisure for the rest of evening.

2nd Day
01:30am - Wake up and have supper at Laban Rata restaurant (Supper time: 2:00am - 3:30am).
02:30am - Commence to the summit by torchlight.
05:30am - Witness the beautiful sunrise from the summit.
06:00am - Begin to descend and back to Laban Rata. (latest by 6:30am).
09:00am - Arrive at Laban Rata restaurant for breakfast (Breakfast time: 7:30am - 10:30am).
10:00am - Begin to descend.
15:30pm - Reach Timpohon Gate, transfer to Kinabalu Park’s HQ, collect your certificate.
16:30pm - Transfer back to hotel at Kota Kinabalu.
18:30pm - Estimate time of arrival.
