The Main House accommodates 6 – 8 people in 3 rooms, or if the full house is rented (including Main House, Coach House, Honeymoon Loft and Family Loft) it can accommodate 12 – 15 people.
Located directly alongside Paddagang restaurant, The Manor House will enchant all who set eyes on her.
Accommodation is self-catering, although breakfast is readily available.

This extraordinary 200 year old gem has three large bedrooms (double, double twin) and one full bathroom as well as a large open plan lounge/dining room, kitchen and scullery.
Every room in the house is abundantly decorated with opulent European antiques and original artwork to create an old world Victorian charm which the property exudes, it has lots of character and makes for a very special stay.
For those who appreciate beautiful things, this delightful house will be sure to impress. Built in 1814 in the Cape Dutch style, the house was converted into its current Victorian appearance in 1880. The house received minor restoration after the earthquake of 1969 and is now in pristine condition with old Oregon pine floors and original wide yellowwood ceilings throughout.

The beautiful Double Room is located at the front of the house with Persian carpets and antique furniture. Victorian iron and brass bed will ensure an authentic feel.

The large main bedroom is tastefully furnished and dominated by its antique brass 4-poster bed. The room has window onto the back veranda

The twin room is a cool room at the front of the house and has two singles beds, Persian carpets and nautical art. Mosquito nets in the summer and electrical blankets in the Winter will ensure year around good sleep.

The living room is designed with seating around the piano and flat screen TV, the comfortable over size sofas and Queen Ann Chairs make for a stylish night in doors while the mahogany dining room table which seats six, (can be extended to twelve) is perfect for formal entertaining.

The house offers a quiet covered front veranda on Church street where you can sit on benches and greet the tourists and visitors walking down the street. Alternately the back veranda off the kitchen has a table for eight with tranquil views down the garden to the pool and beyond.

The large established garden is a private and tranquil paradise with enormous antique oak trees and curtains of foliage and colourful plantings. The large swimming pool and wonderful thatched lapa/boma with built in braai/BBQ alongside as well as a lawned areas include which are great for entertaining and keeping the whole family in holiday mode.

The fully equipped kitchen is ideal for those seeking self-catering accommodation in Tulbagh and although small it is well designed and offers ample working place.

The kitchen features large double fridge and freezer, gas hob and oven, microwave, toaster and kettle. Full sets of guest crockery, cutlery, glasses, pots, pans and standard kitchen equipment.

The convenient scullery alongside offers out-of-site storage, preparation and washing up facilities.

Our Honeymoon Loft features a large room with queen size bed, single bed, Victorian bath and kitchenette. There is a separate en suite shower/toilet. The loft can accommodate up to 3 people.

The Coach House is a luxury en-suite cottage has a queen bed, full deluxe bathroom and wet-room, living area and even a kitchenette. Cottage has its own private courtyard and garden.

Our Family Loft comprises of 2 bedrooms and can accommodate 4 people. The one room has a queen size bed and the other room has two single beds.

Tulbagh is 120 km north west of Cape Town, hidden within the beautiful Breede River valley, below the peak of the Groot Winterhoek Mountain, the start of the mighty Cedarburg range. Tulbagh is in the Cape Winelands and has its very own wine route – The Tulbagh Wine Route. The town is also the start of the famous Route 62, which stretches 160 km through the valley to Montague, and then on through the Karoo to Oudtshoorn.
