We area a unique Four Star Graded Guest House situated in the heart of Johannesburg’s trendy and vibrant northern suburb of Parkhurst. We are situated in a quiet cul-de-sac overlooking a flowing river. The picturesque garden is seasonal, and it is worth spending some time relaxing at the pool, or warming yourself in the winter sun, watching the waterfowl and abundant birdlife.

This enchanting guest house is located in secret Parkhurst. The Guesthouse is just 35 minutes’ drive from the airport (20 minutes by Gautrain to Rosebank Station) we offer the business person, tourist and traveller a safe, quiet, relaxing and comfortable stay away from home. Parkhurst and our guest house is a safe and relaxed environment for both single ladies as well as family groups.

We offer 5 luxury rooms as follows:
Room 1: Luxury room with two 3/4 sized beds and en suite bathroom. The room can be converted into a King Size bed upon request. Recently refurbished and redecorated, with “duckegg blue” the prominent colour giving this room extra tranquility.

Room 2: Extra large Luxury room with queen size bed and en suite bathroom with both tub and shower. The room has a Juliet Balcony overlooking the flowing river and a huge pepper-tree with abundant and prolific bird life.

Room 3: Luxury room with queen size bed and en suite bathroom which has both tub and shower. This room is bright and airy with a spectacular view of the gardens.

Room 4 and 5: These suites are across the stream and sturdy bridge and offers a tranquil , comfortable and relaxing stay. These rooms each have a kitchenette and are suitable for long stay guests as well as short term travelers; breakfast is included in the rates as normal.

There are top quality linens and furnishings in all rooms, under floor heating and electric blankets, as well as bathroom heaters.

A full English breakfast or designer breakfast/ brunch is offered – consisting of fresh fruit salad, fruit platter, yogurts, stewed fruits, cereals, eggs, bacon, sausages, mushrooms, tomatoes, baked beans, the chefs special dishes which include inter alia a variety of savoury mince dishes, Kedgeree honey glazed gammon to name a few- Brown and white toast, fresh fruit juice, pastries, preserves and jams, selection of teas and coffees – all served in the breakfast room which overlooks the garden and
river.

We are conveniently situated within a gentle stroll to the Bistros, restaurants & quirky shops/ boutiques in Parkhurst, Greenside and Parktown North; we are near Rosebank, Sandton, Hyde Park, Braamfontein, Johannesburg Central, as well as within easy access to the M1 Highway. The University of the Witwatersrand, Wits Business School, University of Johannesburg as well as the Johannesburg College of Education are all with a 10 minute drive as are Milpark, Park Lane, Rosebank Clinic, Wits University Donald Gordon Medical Centre and Sandton Medi-Clinic.

The Rosebank Mall and Rosebank Market are only a few minutes away – enjoy a week-end away visiting the famous Rosebank Rooftop Market. The buzzing little village of Parkhurst , Greenside Parktown North are within walking distance.
