They also include minibars, tea and coffeemaking facilities, flat-screen TVs and sitting areas. The upgraded suite is split-level, featuring a dining area and a private pool.

All three of our Luxury Bush Suites are uniquely poised and offer their own individual African themed decor. With the native forest on your doorstep, you’ll enjoy complete privacy with giant Angophora gums and Lyrebirds as your only neighbours. Large open plan designs invite the outdoors in and allow guests unhindered views from bed, lounge, deck and even bathroom. In fact, on a clear day one can even see the city skyline almost 80 kilometers away. Amenities include flat screen TV, private balcony, a luxury bathroom with stand alone two person tub, and king size bed.

Well,........ What a place! First off, there is the spectacular natural beauty of the Blue Mountains; then you ice it with Bowen Mountain and it’s stunning views over Sydney; and then you top it all off with the multi-faceted jewel that is Retreat and your life has been completely transformed. Everything at the lodge is absolutely perfect - the friendly staff, the gorgeous suites, the gourmet dining, the blissful spa services. It is literally better than you can imagine, even after reading all the five star reviews and seeing all the beautiful photos. Whatever impression you have, Retreat will far exceed your wildest expectations. This place is just utterly spectacular. It is a true slice of heaven in the Blue Mountains. The accommodation is luxurious and immaculate with an African twist - a mix of extravagance and indulgence and a rustic homeliness, all immersed in a true Aussie wilderness. The range of food served is just delicious (some of the best we’ve had) and the extra little touches makes this lodge a truly unique experience. Everything is anticipated and planned for in the most professional manner with meticulous attention to detail and delivered by the most professional, courteous and friendly staff. The retreat offers the highest level of hospitality and all the things that dreams are made of. Rhiannon, the master of dream-weaving, is at the helm of this magnificent property and made the atmosphere feel welcoming, warm and genuine. We were made to feel like royalty, whilst at the same time welcomed like long-lost family. After each day of activities in the Blue Mountains, coming back to really felt like coming home – you’re treated as though you’re the most special guests the staff have ever had. We have rarely encountered this type of comfort and warmth when travelling, and we left there feeling like we’d made new friends. Truly wonderful. We’ve travelled all across Australia and to many parts of the world, and it would be very difficult for us to think of a place that we'd recommend more highly than this complex.
