Stayed March 2017 : Booked our family vacation to Belize online. The rain forest and Mayan ruins started our Belize visit at this hotel. We were picked up at the airport then greeted on arrival by the wonderful staff at the hotel. Our luggage was delivered to our room while we were given a brief tour of the property while enjoying our complimentary rum punch. Our room was one we will never forget - just beautifully set up with a balcony overlooking the pool and the rain forest. All the staff couldn't have been nicer and more helpful. Our breakfast was included with the room - ordering anything off the menu; the chef knows what he/she is doing! Also had dinner there one night - food beautifully presented and delicious (strongly suggest any of the beef dishes - hotel has it's own cattle ranch). The hotel has a Medicinal and Trail and Iquanna Project that is available at no cost to guests - highly recommend. Excursions to Mayan ruins, caves, zip-lining, tubing are all in close proximity to hotel. The town of San Ignacio is an easy walk (except prepare yourself for climbing hill on the return) for restaurants, shopping and strolling. Our stay couldn't have been more pleasant! We would definitely return to this hotel if we return to this area of Belize.

Stayed March 2017 : Ruben at the concierge desk was very helpful and friendly. He made our visit to Belize a memorable one with helping us get to where we wanted to go at the best price and the best accomadations. The restaurant at this hotel was incredible as well. A little pricey, but delicious and the staff were excellent. Thanks for a great visit.

Stayed Feb 2017 : We spent a few days on the Island of Ambergris Caye and then came over to this hotel, for some Mayan history and fabulous cave tubing. This hotel was a delight. They have a fine restaurant and a pleasant and helpful staff. The front desk and the housekeeping staff really stand out as excellent. Our room was clean and comfortable with really good air conditioning. I enjoyed taking a book into the lobby or on the deck overlooking the pool for reading and relaxing. Our cave tubing tour and transfers to and from the airport picked us up right at the door. The restaurant had very good food with plenty of choices. Managers and even owners were periodically walking through checking on guests. It is a very "comfortable" place. You just take a deep breath and relax. Bring bug spray...ha ha not because of the hotel, but you are in the jungle here so for your tours and outdoor activities you will need it. This hotel has the Green Iguana Project which is a good 1 hour educational activity. This is a good choice!
