On site facilities include a bar, a restaurant, a private beach, a swimming pool, and a shuttle from the airport to the dock. All accommodations are on the seafront and will offer you comfort, luxury and privacy. A Wii console can be borrowed at the office. This resort is eco-friendly.

Stayed August 2016 : Great experience from the time we arrived until we left was nothing short of GREAT!! The staff are all very friendly and helpful! They all seemed to want to be sure we had a great time! The food was always first class! Beds are great, rooms very clean and and comfortable! The dives were great (I've done a lot of diving and have never had the dive team assistance I had at this resort! They take care of everything........from loading to setting it all up to unloading and getting it all ready for your next dive!) Pool was very clean and such a relaxing place to gather with family or friends and talk about the day or whatever!! I am looking forward to my next vacation at this resort !!

Stayed Feb 2017 This was my fifth time to visit to this resort. Obviously I must like it a lot to return on a regular basis. It is a perfect vacation for me away from the chaos of life. But the part that I like the most is that the people who run the island actually listen to what their customers say. Each time I go I tell them something that I think can be better and the next time I am there, they have made it happen. The last time I requested that that they provide local cuisine as I can get a hamburger anywhere. Now on the lunch menu there is a Belizean option that I took advantage of every day. I also find them so trustworthy that I do not check my bill as I leave. I just don't think that they will tack on charges that are not valid. In this world right now, that is an admirable trait. I would suggest to anyone who reads this review and is considering going to Hatchet to go. I can't imagine that they will be disappointed.
