Our resort is a small resort in a big location. With only 12 villas in a huge tropical garden of two hectares.

The resort overlooks its own private beach carved into the volcanic rock. The setting is spectacular. Natural caves and ancient stone carvings offer a romantic backdrop to walks across the cliff top and around the adjacent headlands, rice paddies, coconut groves and deserted beaches. It is the perfect place for a honeymoon, a romantic getaway or a family surfing holiday.

Each villa discreetly nestles within its own walled garden offering views across palm fringed gardens to the rugged Balian beach coastline. Private terraces invite you to lounge amidst the clouds and the crowns of palm trees. All the villas have been built for privacy, views and comfort. With a choice of: One Bedroom Villas, Two Bedrooms Villas, Three Bedrooms with private pool - and Honeymoon Suites.

The 27 meter hotel long pool is built around the shape of a rice terrace.

We have 3 beaches in walking distance:
- Balian Beach - a peaceful river mouth breaking left and right over rock and sand.
- Our Small Secret Bay - in front of the resort.
- Mejan Beach - a 30 km of beautiful deserted beach.

This resort is family run. The Balinese staff come from surrounding villages and are friendly and helpful. The Real Bali at last! Located on the west coast after the Tanah Lot Temple and the small city of Tabanan. 55 kms away from Denpasar airport. Far enough from the bustle of Kuta and Legian. The nearby village of Suraberata, well known for the Balian Beach Surf Break, has a few shops: Mini Market, Bank, Pharmacy, Post Office. A night market from 5:00pm and a handful of restaurants and warungs.

Gajah Mina has been built and designed by its French owner to combine the ethnic characteristics of the Balinese cultural environment with a high level of comfort and sophistication. Furnished with a wide variety of antiques sourced from throughout the Indonesia archipelago, the villas are fashioned from natural materials such as volcanic stone, teak, coconut wood and unpolished marble. Stained glass bedroom windows add a touch of romance. Private verandahs with loungers are the perfect place to relax and enjoy the sea breeze and bask in the perfume of tropical flowers.

A luxuriously appointed bathroom with outside garden shower complements all the one bedroom villas. All villas have independently controlled AC.
Have breakfast by the pool, followed by a sensuous and revitalizing Balinese massage in a thatched pavilion overlooking the private beach. Dine in the hotel restaurant, where the best of French and Asian cuisine hold sway. This is truly magical Bali hideaway

The 3 Bedroom Villa ( 1 unit)
The stunning 3 bedroom villa is built on a ridge overlooking beautiful gardens and a Balinese temple. Two of the bedrooms have en-suite open bathroom with fish pond and water fountain. The third one has no fish pond as it can be used as a child's bedroom. The master bedroom and the child's bedroom have a communicating door. All bedrooms are furnished with king size bed and temperature control, they can be converted to twin beds on demand. Baby cot is free of charge.

It is a wonderful place to spend some quality time with friends or family. A comfortable lounge room is there if you like to listen to music or maybe enjoy a room service diner. A short walk will take you to the main swimming pool and the pool bar of the resort. A bit further is our private cove and nature walk. A beautiful infinity swimming pool complement the deck. We can install a baby safe fence on demand, to make your holiday a safe and relaxing one.
