Situated on the 3rd floor, this beautiful Japanese style apartment, recently refurbished and comfortable, is ideal for a young couple wishing to eat and sleep Japanese style in the most prestigious district of the city, Gion.
In the entrance, on the right, you will find a fully-equipped kitchen as well as a small shower, with separate toilets.
On the left, a first small Japanese room that can contain two futons. On the streetside, the big, warm living room, facing south, is bathed in a soft light filtered by translucent white paper panels.
When night falls, the comfort of futons completes the experience.
Last but not least, this apartment benefits from access to a gorgeous terrace on the fifth floor with a 360° view of Kyoto. Some chairs and a wooden table allow you, when weather permits, to fully enjoy this wonderful scenery.

Our apartment is located in Gion, the area famous for geisha and maiko.
Our apartment is located a few yards from the famous Hanamikoji street, which crosses Gion. This street is lined with restaurants, accessory shops, craft shops, ochaya shops (tea houses). Spirituality is also two steps away from the house, in the enclosure of Kuenning Temple where Zen Buddhism is practised.

Amenities, transport and supermarkets are all not far from the house.

With its typical Japanese interior, its view outstanding view on the incredible architecture of Kaburenjo theatre, and the charms of its traditional neighbourhood, Gion Hanamikoji flat is a privileged place to stay in Kyoto, a unique vacation rental in Japan.
