If you seek interesting excursion spots, there are many to choose from: Istria's main town, Pula, offers a wonderful old town and the Roman amphitheatre and the picturesque Rovinj is located on Istria's west coast. A boat tour from Fazana to the Brijuni islands is also recommended.
