This is one of the most beautiful villas I've ever been in! Better than the pictures even. The beach has stunning waters on sunny days, is open also to the other villa residents in the area but still quite private. The food was Deeeelicious: chefs were very accommodating of our requests (we eat vegan, GF, and prefer real organic foods) and they were intrigued to learn more about healthy foods. The owner is a very lovely woman who lives a few houses away. Mosquitos were definitely a challenge but that's the case most places in DR. We had some maintenance requests (needed more moquito nets!) that were attended to with ease. Ensure you are clear who is your go-to for urgent needs. The hot tub was amazing, the batthub also but water wasn't hot enough to really enjoy. All the staff were professional, we felt very taken care of and safe! I stayed in multiple DR areas and this villa neighborhood is the nicest on the island I think! The lighting options made it super easy to create gorgeous atmosphere. They got the cable we needed to hook up our laptops to the TV screen for presentations, we didn't try the projector but likely works great - sound system was fun though speakers only in one area. Floors can get slippery so we all agreed to dry off immediately and not drip. Decor is gorgeous. All in all an incredible stay!

We have a family birthday here with three generations (22 people). We loved it. We were floored when we arrived by the mere expansiveness of this well-appointed 20,000 square foot mansion on the beach. The pictures say it all. The cooks and staff were all great and we only left the house once (though many excursions available, we only did the haitises boat tour - also recommended). Massages on site. All meals prepped on site and delicious - just paid for groceries daily. All reasonably priced. The beach is long and has no rocks. Walks to neighboring beaches for waves some days, but calm warm water right in front of the house. We would definitely go back. Bring bug spray - these are the tropics, but by no means a deal- breaker. The ride from the Santo Domingo airport is 2:15, but if you can fly to Samaná, that’s less than an hour. We hired transfer.do to arrange a bus for our whole gang. Some noise from neighbors one or 2 nights, but it was a holiday week. Not exactly toddler-proof, but totally fine for us (10 kids aged 8-20). Lots to keep everyone, including kids busy (hot tub, massage, bocce and volleyball courts, billiard and foosball during the occasional rains, and a fantastic beach).
