The gardens extend to 15 acres and include a private, salt-water swimming pool with terrace for sunbathing. This very spacious and charming family house provides very comfortable holiday accommodation. Manoir de Mombette is privately situated on a hill overlooking Cénac with views across to the bastide town of Domme. Close by is Sarlat with its fascinating twice-weekly market and historic buildings. The River Dordogne is within walking distance with its riverside beaches. The caves at Lascaux and Padirac as well as La-Roque-Gageac and the spectacular riverside châteaux of Baynac, Fenelon and Castlenaud are also close by. The area can be easily explored by car, bicycle, on foot or by canoe. The discreet owner lives in an apartment within the mansion with her cats and her dog.
