Situated on a hill with views across the countryside near Azay-le-Rideau, this unique 15th century listed manor is adjacent to the owners magnificent 17th century château. This detached holiday property retains original features including an impressive staircase, beams, wooden floors and open fireplaces. The very attractive interior reflects the owners' flair for interior design, hence modern comforts and local antiques. Outside the 30 hectares estate has woodlands, landscaped gardens, large lawns with an attractive ornamental pond and plenty of space. Guests can spend time with the animals on site (horses and donkeys) or explore the vines and the winery. Guests can also take advantage of the shared swimming pool and use of the tennis court. All the treasures of the Loire Valley are at your door, including the Châteaux of Azay, Ussé, Villandry, Chinon, Langeais, Saumur and Tours. For a more quiet life there are over a hundred cycle tracks alongside the riverbanks (bike hire available). Home cooked meals available (at additional cost, welcome breakfast free of charge).
