Puerto del Cuyo is a small, unspoiled Beachtown filled with Cocunut palm trees near Holbox, and is today the only coastal town in the Yucatan which is dotted with palm trees. At all other beaches in the Yucatan, the palm trees were exterminated by a plague some years ago, and were sadly not reforested . Not so in Puerto del Cuyo, here you can still find the Caribbean Feeling mixed with mexican flair that used to be found in every Yucatan Beach town.

The Beachhome Hacienda Villa del Cuyo with a/c was built in the mexican colonial style right on the Beach, and is surrounded by Coconut Palmtrees.

You can either rent the whole Villa ( 2300ft2, up tp 12 guests)

or just the Groundfloor ( 1300 ft2, upt to 8 guests), or the Penthouse ( 1000 ft2, up to 4 guests) and the Casita Maya on the 3rd Floor for 2 Guests

The Groundfloor i recommend for families with small children or couples that are looking for Quality Time with their Families,peace and relaxation right on the beach and the ocean, away from big Hotel and Tourists.

The GF of Hacienda Villa del Cuyo has a fully equipped kitchen with Breakfastbar, Diningroom Table, Livingroom with Sofa, Bathroom with Shower and WC. It also has an outsideshower when you come from the beach.

The Beachfront Terrace has a 250 ft2 mayan Palapa that gives you wonderful shade right on the beach, Loungechairs for 4 people and a table with 6 chairs where you can enjoy Breakfasts, lunches and dinner in a uncomparable beachfront location.

Palmtrees in front of the house give you additional shade.

Also will you be able to see the daily sunrises and sunsets over the ocean , and be able to start your morning walks on the beach right from there.

Puerto del Cuyo is a typical laid back Fisherman's Village away from the crowds. If you are thinking about an eco-tourism adventure or weeks of relaxation and privacy near a ocean with turquoise greenish waters and white sand sprinkled with a beautiful variety of shells, which invite to explore and make long walks on the beach, We invite you to walk the beach in front of the Villa in the morning, enjoying a brilliant dawn and during the evening you will be astonished to be able to enjoy a spectacular sunset on the beach. This is one of the many advantages to stay at this Villa, as it faces the northern waters, spectacular dawns and sunsets can be watched. And there is more if you get tired to watch the ocean, we invite you to take a look behind the villa to the south towards Ria Lagartos, where you will find countless pink flamingos, unique in this region, nesting very near in the calm waters of the Lagoon.

The air conditioned Penthouse ( 80m2/ 1100ft2) with its stunning Beach and Oceanviews accommodates 2 guests in one comfortable Kingsize Bed in the Masterbedroom , 2 more guests on the Sofabed in the Livingroom and in the Casita Maya on the 3rd Floor 2 more guests.

Its air conditioned Masterbedroom with King Size Bed also has a Colonial Balcony.

The Beachfront Terrace has a Mayan Palapa for shade , 2 Lounge Chairs and a Table from where you get to observe the Sunrises and the Sunsets over the beach.

The Penthouse of Hacienda Villa del Cuyo is completely private and independent from the Groundfloor, with separate Entrances and Terraces to assure my guests privacy and peacefulness.
