The place is beautiful but what made me pick up my phone and do a review is the bar b q night buffet. If you are staying in Placencia and see the sign on the side of the road... bar b q buffet night DO IT!!! If for nothing else but the salad bar. Best I have ever had ... ever. Chef is an artist... they have a Bunch of fresh salad stuff ... but the chef has like 10 or 12 home made dressings that will blow your mind... try not to eat salad till you explode before your meat is done

Stayed April 2017 Personnel agréable et souriant Hôtel un peu vieillissant mais les chambres sont propres et grandes, avec le wifi Petite plage de sable sur 5 mètres , mer peu accueillante ces jours ci avec les algues , 3 piscines à disposition Excursions possibles depuis l'hôtel En résumé, hôtel agréable mais qui nécessiterait une remise au goût du jour

Stayed April 2017 We had an upper level one bedroom with a view of the ocean. It was spacious and loved the view. We had dinner their twice which were both excellent. Valentines day dinner on the beach was especially nice. In terms of the 'vibe' it was mostly families and older people but if you wanted night life Placencia is literally 5 minutes away. The grounds were perfect and the staff was excellent. We did a dive through the dive shop which was a highlight of our trip, and we had access to bicycles any time of the day. In addition, everyone we met that stayed their was super friendly, sharing their experiences and what they did each day!! We toured the rest of the property and it does seem part of the property needs some updating, but our experience was perfect!!
