Costa Rica vacation rentals : This 2-bedroom villa offers views of the ocean and rainforest. You will be immersed in an intense experience of wildlife and energy, in the comfort of tropical rooms.
The villa is located in the Gandoca-Manzanillo Wildlife Refuge in Punta Uva, on the Caribbean coast. The house is 1 km from the turquoise waters of the Caribbean Sea and you can enjoy beautiful unspoiled beaches, go diving on coral reefs, go kayaking, horseback riding or just relax. You will be sure to see dozens of toucans every day in addition to several kinds of monkeys, sloths, colorful frogs, morpho butterflies, hummingbirds, countless varieties of birds and exotic insects.
The villa is fully equipped and can comfortably accommodate up to 4 people. The floors and cathedral ceilings are made with beautiful local hardwoods.
There are 2 bedrooms, each with its own private balcony, outdoor bathroom and private garden. The master bedroom has a queen size bed and the second bedroom 2 twin beds - perfect for kids - that can be converted to a king size bed. The balconies of the rooms overlook the rainforest.
There is also a full kitchen, a dining room, a terrace and a Hammock cabin.
The house is rented in full - whether you are one or four people.
The amenities of this villa are: sheets and pillows, beach and bath towels, hangers, ceiling fans, work desk, bedside tables and lamps, duvets for cool nights and literature. There is also a hidden safe where you can protect your valuables, as well as the wifi.

Stayed April 2016 This beautiful Costa Rican getaway is the perfect place to go on any sort of vacation wether it be with the family or with your significant other. The layout of the house is very spacious and very outdoorsy so you always have an amazing view of the jungle just feet from your deck. We stayed for 5 days and every day saw toucans and monkeys flying and swinging through the forest (the monkeys are loud but are really cool)! For daytime activities the beach is a walking distance away so you can surf or just spend time in the water. The owners were very friendly and welcoming so you feel like you're at a second home. All around my only complaint is that we couldn't stay longer!

Stayed June 2016 This has been one of our favourite places to stay in Costa Rica. We stayed for only 7 days, and wish we could have stayed longer. Nothing compares to waking up to the sounds of the jungle. The view is absolutely breathtaking and often accompanied with monkeys and tucans - which is always a pleasure! You are right in the heart of the jungle with the comforts of a 5-star hotel and amazingly close to the beach. There are so many activities to do close by! I left feeling a wonderful sense of calm. I can't wait to come back next year!!

Stayed may2016 Staying at the toucan was the most beautiful experience while being in costa rica! accommodation was comfortable, peaceful and private. I had everything i could ask for and more! i felt so connected to everything being that it was an outdoor shower and outdoor kitchen. It was all so serene, filled with life and i could see the ocean from the balcony area. It was sooo spacious and practicing yoga on the porch as the the sun rose was such a wonderful feeling. i will never forgot this place and hope to come back one day.
