Stayed Nov 2016 This property is beautiful! You have the jungle in your backyard with so much jungle life all around you. And the path to the beach is a short and very wonderful walk. The beach is beautiful and goes for miles in both directions with so much privacy. We were traveling with 8 people (4 adults/4 kiddos aged 12, 13, 15, 16) and had plenty of space inside of out. Definitely bring flash lights and binoculars to explore this wonderous property. What we liked about the property - everything! -the privacy, the beauty, the jungle and the the beach -within walking distance to restaurants and grocery -within biking distance to shops and other beaches (many beaches to explore) -the outdoor living space is amazing - like no other we have seen before - it is huge and very clean and very well covered. We were there during a tropical storm and nothing leaked. It was amazing to be able to be outside to hear and see the rain and experience the jungle. Can't imagine staying anywhere else - rain or shine this is where you want to be -air condition in the bedrooms -inside living space was very roomy as well as the bedrooms - very large -sliding doors that open to outdoor living space -2 foot showers and an outside shower Please know the kitchen and dining area are all outside - the fridge, stove, cabinets, trash, tables, chairs, everything. **If you like to cook (which we did for almost every meal) the outdoor kitchen can be challenging if you are used to a lot of amenities. You can not store any dry food outside unless it is sealed tight, as jungle creatures will find there way to the patio while you are sleeping. You have to be sure and clean/wash everything as soon as you are done cooking as the bugs/ants are quick to act on food that is out. The kitchen amenities are very basic due to this. Would recommend to bring a very sharp kitchen knife and there is no cutting board. Would also recommend bringing Ziploc bags as there is not much to store leftover food in. No complaint at all -we loved it - just informing since it is not really noted anywhere. The caretakers on the property will accommodate any needs you have - you just have to let them know. Communication is key. Amelie is wonderful, responsive and very informative. If you have any questions just ask her as she is very open and honest and gives wonderful recommendations to whatever you are interested in.

stayed January 2017 Très beau logement bien située et tranquille avec la nature!!! Tres belle visite des singes tous les jours... Seul point négatif la plage privé de la maison où il est impossible baigner les enfants et difficile pour les adultes. (en janvier pour notre part.)

Stayed march 2017 Excellent choix si vous voulez être en plein milieu de la jungle avec une plage privée! Par contre, Puerto viejo est à 10 minutes de taxi obligatoire, alors c'est un peu chiant étant donné que c'est compliqué un peu commander un taxi.
