The lodge lies in the heart of the magnificent Magaliesberg mountain range. Head Northwest from Johannesburg and after a 1½ hour's journey our warm welcome awaits you. On arrival, relax and unwind with a refreshing drink, then take the time to enjoy the majestic views over the Buffelspoort Valley and dam while you cool off in the swimming pool. Spend the evenings in peaceful elegance, cuddled up to a cosy log fire, or sit around the fire pit and after cooking your meal, enjoy the star-studded skies and listen to the nocturnal inhabitants commence their vigil.
Welcome the new day with a stroll through the secluded kloof, and listen to the exquisite sounds of the awakening bush. We have 1000 acres of private and pristine bush and mountain veldt for you to explore at your leisure. An energetic walk to the top of the mountain will give you views you only dream of, and if it is warm enough, take a dip in the pure, sparkling rock pools. The bush is a nature lover's paradise, with numerous species of flora and fauna.
Bird lovers are normally assured of sightings of the Black (Vereaux's) Eagle and Cape Vulture, as well as an abundance of the smaller species. You are certain to enjoy absolute privacy as the lodge is only let to one party at a time. Sleeping from two to twelve people in stylish luxury, our accommodation has been described as "world class". We allow our guests to take time away from the daily grind, as our friendly staff services the lodge.
This self-catering luxury unit has a fully equipped kitchen, furnished to the highest standards with a large stove, fridge/freezer, and convection microwave. The only things you will need during your stay are food and beverage. We believe our four-star grading is well deserved, but don't let us try and convince you, come and visit us and find out for yourself.

The unit is equipped with a safe large enough to carry a laptop, guests should use these to store any valuables. Guests are requested to be responsible with valuables and store them securely. We are proactive with security and most units are fenced with electric fencing and all units with alarms, guests are requested to assist us in staying crime-free by using the systems installed.

The lodge is situated in a malaria free area with a subtropical climate. Bring clothing appropriate to the time of year, an insect repellent and sprays are recommended.
Should you plan on hiking, ensure you bring a rucksack, water bottles and sun cream, along with the appropriate footwear. The hiking trails are rocky and comfortable footwear is essential.
Mountain biking is allowed but bear in mind that the trails are tough, we can by prior arrangement get permission to cycle on the neighbour's farm.
We do not allow the use of our towels at the pool areas and request that you bring your own for this.
All bed linen is supplied and hot water bottles and extra blankets are provided in case of cold weather with additional available on request, basic toiletries are provided; please bring any personal toiletries you may require.
Gaslights or LED lamps are provided in the event of power failures, but you may find your own torch handy in such circumstances.
Please note, we are in a game reserve and no music systems are permitted, excessive noise that impacts other guests is not allowed. Contact us should you be uncertain on what else to bring.
