Our family had a glorious week here. The house reflects that genius of the owners' flair for art and design. You are immersed amongst beautiful architecture and interior design with luxurious comfort. The owners have crafted the most magnificent vistas from different vantage points in the house. These views take in the tropical flora and fauna. Humming birds, monkeys and butterflies flourish amidst the cascades of flamboyant trees and mahogany woods that flow down the valley and lead your eye to the open sea and Bajan sunsets. Très belle maison, très bien située. rien à dire. si on devait faire un reproche, eu égard au prix de la location, le propriétaire ne met même pas une bouteille d'eau dans le frigidaire,et quelques provisions. c'est un peu mesquin. a défaut, le propriétaire n'offre même pas une bouteille de bienvenue, quelques fruits ou un bouquet de fleurs. Il pourrait être envoyé un plan pour aider à trouver la maison, car il n'y a aucun panneau indicateur dans les rues. Brice, Aix en Provence, France

We have stayed in Barbados many times over the years and know the island quite well. The house is located in a quiet terrace on the ridge overlooking Carlton. It is an exceptionally designed house for the island, with huge a naturally ventilated living space and comfortable air conditioned bedrooms, which all have lovely outlooks over the pool and out to the coast. The views from all parts of the house are fantastic and the sunsets spectacular. This is a house that really needs a car, since walking anywhere would be out of the question. However, with the car you can access the beaches within minutes and the shops and restaurants in Holetown in about 10 minutes. We had a party of 4 adults and a 10 year old although the house could obviously accommodate more. However, I would suggest the house is not ideal for very young children, since the pool is not fenced and there are many hard surfaces. The maid service and cook were delightful and I would recommend making arrangements early in your stay for your cooking needs, which can include breakfast, lunch and dinner, if required. If you are looking for a carefree and relaxing holiday with a semi 'self catering' option, then this house is absolutely ideal. Patrick, London, UK
