Our Exclusive Luxury Eco Hotel Lodge is located in Barahona, Dominican Republic in the still unspoiled and secluded southwest region of the Dominican Republic and adjacent to the only biosphere reserve in the country, the resort offers a unique ecological experience atypical to most Dominican Republic Hotels.

Our resort received many high awards and consists of 12 cabanas, a spa and a restaurant featuring naturally grown products from the area.

Guest experiences a sense of place getting to know their surroundings and neighbors. A multitude of activities can be experienced daily and can be complemented with a unique spa experience afterwards.

Deluxe Room:
Deluxe Guest Resort accommodations are simple and refreshing, featuring white linens and walls accented with palm wood and wicker furnishings. Renowned architect Rafael Selman, who used his love of nature for inspiration, designed the rooms. Selman built the accommodations in a way so that Each Room has Views of Both The Caribbean Sea and The Sierra Barahuco Mountains.

Each of Casa Bonita Hotel’s 12 deluxe Guest Rooms and the Ocean View Suite displays graphic art by the acclaimed conservation photographer Eladio Fernandez. Accommodations also feature a private balcony overlooking the tropical jungle and out to sea. Deluxe King rooms are outfitted with a king bed while Deluxe Double rooms have two full-size beds.

Ocean view Suite (only one)
Located with the best view of the Caribbean sea in a private area of 116.6m2 of construction, this suite is equipped with a flat screen TV, CD/DVD devices, living area, open terrace and solarium with visibility of the ocean at 107° and an infinity pool, dining area and kitchen, ample bathroom with double sinks, spacious shower and closet space.

Due to its strategic location in the lush south coast, the resort is an ideal place for guests to interact with the rich biodiversity of the region. Enjoy a variety of onsite activities including hiking, water sports, tennis, yoga, horseback riding, mountain biking excursions, as well as the lodge’s own Canopy Tour, which lets you glide through the tress and view a land of mythical beauty, in a unique adventure experience. Just outside the property, guests have a plethora of activities available to them. From nature walks along river trails, surfing, snorkeling and swimming, guided tours to any of the National Parks within the Jaragua, Bahoruco and Enriquillo Bioshpere Reserve, bird watching tour, organic coffee plantation tour, a visit to Casa de Tarzán (Tarzan’s House), Las Aguilas Bay, Oviedo Lagoon and Lake Enriquillo as well as exploring caves with ancient tribal art, there is lots to explore.
