This 15th-century country house near the characteristic village of Vacone (800 m) in the province of Rieti (Rieti 31 km), owned by a noble Tuscan family, was once a hunting lodge. It offers a beautiful view of the Apennine foothills. Guests can enjoy spacious outdoor areas, a small round swimming pool that can be retracted and a slide or a playhouse for your children. In the garden, there is also a covered terrace for al fresco dining and a barbecue. The location of the holiday home is ideal for excursions to medieval monasteries, picturesque hilltop towns and the many archaeological sites to be found in the green Lazio countryside. Recommended excursions Vescovio Monastery (6 km), Farfa Abbey (18 km) and Sacro Speco Monastery near Narni (10 km). Characteristic features of this holiday home are the different living areas on different levels, the beamed ceiling typical of this area, the terracotta floors, an antique stove and the large fireplace on the 1st floor. The twin bedroom with en suite bathroom is located in the tower (2nd floor) of the former hunting lodge.
