Phalaborwa Guest House

This 4 star Guest House Situated in Phalaborwa 520 km north of Johannesburg (only a 5 to 6 hours scenic drive). Hoedspruit (1 hour drive from Phalaborwa) has a small airport with daily flights from and to Johannesburg.
From the Guest House it is only a 7 minutes drive to the Phalaborwa gate of Kruger National Park and as such a convenient place from which to explore the Park, to explore the region or simply a relaxing place to stay in town for business or your holiday
From September 2022 , the Guest House is FULLY solar powered so during load shedding or other power outages the room will still have power. The Guest House also has its own borehole so we can provide our guests always water.

A full English breakfast plus fresh fruit salad, cereal and yoghurt is included in the room rate and is served daily from 7-9am on the wooden deck overlooking the pool. A convenient breakfast pack can be arranged if guests choose to depart before 7am.
We offer a couple of days per week a culinaire 3 course menu made with local and seasonable ingredients.
We have in total 12 luxury rooms/suites (2 persons per room/suite), 2 swimming pools, 2 lapas, bar area and a breakfast/sitting area.
Please note that we don’t have a restaurant and we do not have self-catering facilities or a braai area.
All rooms have an en-suite bathroom with (walk in) shower and some with a separate bath, air-conditioning, DSTV, free Wi-Fi, a safe, hairdryer, complimentary biscuits, tea and coffee facilities and of course daily housekeeping.
Stylishly decorated with modern African furnishing as well as our large executive suite. All rooms are air-conditioned and have private entrances in addition to a private patio that leads to the tropical garden.
ALL OUR ROOMS ARE SOLAR POWERED AND WE HAVE OUR OWN BOREHOLE.

Situated on the doorstep of the Kruger National Park, one of the world’s most famous wildlife nature reserves, Phalaborwa offers a range of opportunities to observe wildlife in its natural habitat.
Phalaborwa is the ideal base to explore Kruger Park as well as the Blyde River Canyon panoramic road with the three Rondavals and God’s window.
The activities include a visit to the local craft distillery or Hi Kurile cooperative to buy some beautiful local handicrafts.
