The Chalet
Less than 200 meters from the slopes of Verbier, in the Valais mountains, this superb contemporary luxury chalet is an ideal holiday location to take full advantage of one of the largest ski areas in Europe. Very close to the center, you will also have plenty of time to enjoy the lively life of the resort.
The property can accommodate fifteen people in absolute comfort. Arranged on four levels and served by an elevator, it has sumptuous relaxation areas (a jacuzzi and a sauna), seven bedrooms including two family suites and a pretty double bedroom on the mezzanine.
On the ground floor, you will first find something to meet up with family or friends to rest and have fun. You will enjoy relaxing after exercise in the first living room by the fireplace in the large upturned leather sofas, while some will prefer to play a game of billiards or chess and have a bite to eat in the kitchenette or have a drink. aperitif at the bar. The room is spacious and bright, its modern solid wood parquet.
A little further on, the double bedroom is modular thanks to its two twin beds. With its adjoining bathroom, it seems perfectly suited to accommodate a family. It adjoins a children's room, equipped with three wooden bunk beds, warmed by silky fur blankets. This faces an independent bathroom to ensure total autonomy for the occupants of the ground floor. The whole is sober and refined, but warm. The architects were able to give character to the residence thanks to the remarkable old objects, sleighs, seats and chests of yesteryear, which furnish the rooms. The alternation of light wood (panelled walls, cupboards, framework), sober colors (shades of grey, beige and taupe) and clean lines gives the place a very relaxing charm.
It is also through the entrance hall that you can access the superb indoor whirlpool bath in a stone decor as well as the adjoining shower rooms and the sauna, promises of delicious hours of relaxation after the effort on the slopes!
On the first floor, you will find the ski room, equipped with a heated shoe cabinet, as well as two beautiful double bedrooms opening onto a magnificent wooden balcony, typical of the traditional architecture of the region. There is one of the most pleasant bedrooms on the property here: the lucky inhabitants of the spacious master bedroom will be able to enjoy the warmth of the fireplace, comfortably installed in the large leather armchair with a good book in hand or relax in the exceptional bathroom with a free-standing bathtub, adorned with stone and wood, a perfect balance between old and modern. A second double bedroom (with single beds and adjoining bathroom) occupies the first floor, with a balcony.
On the second floor are the common living spaces. The large living room is organized around a stone fireplace, in a classic and timeless atmosphere. Adjoining, the dining area can accommodate up to 12 people at the table. It communicates with the kitchen and its bar, an opportunity to vary the moments of conviviality. Two other bedrooms occupy the first floor, offering the possibility of reuniting, for example, a second small family. One has two twin beds and a bathroom (with separate shower and bathtub), the other has two bunk beds for children with a remarkable view of the Combins mountains. They share a common bathroom, directly accessible from each of the bedrooms.
Finally, the mezzanine is entirely dedicated to the charming and last double bedroom of this superb contemporary luxury chalet. The last steps of the staircase will lead you under the solid wood frame where you will be like in a real cocoon, perched at the very top of the house, in the greenery of the surrounding fir trees.
