The Chalet
Barely a few hundred meters from the Verbier ski area in Switzerland, this luxury and characterful chalet is the perfect vacation spot for staying with family or friends. With a capacity of 10 to 13 people and 600 m2 of living space spread over 4 levels, it has an outdoor jacuzzi with a breathtaking panorama.
Ideally laid out, the chalet has been designed to facilitate group living. You enter via the ground floor where the amenities are located (the ski room with heated shoe cabinet, the laundry room, the separate toilets, storage spaces and the lounge). Major advantage, you can access all the upper floors by a staircase but also by an elevator.
On the first floor are the bedrooms. Two are double and modular thanks to their twin beds, the third has a king size bed. All three have en-suite private bathrooms. They face a remarkable family suite which can accommodate a couple or two children in a modular double bedroom communicating with a charming bedroom equipped with three wooden bunk beds typical of the region. These share a common bathroom. All the rooms enjoy a view of the snow-capped peaks with access to the terrace which runs along the first floor as well as to the outdoor jacuzzi. All different, they are decorated in the classic style of country residences. You will be happy to choose the room with its pink and green panoply, the yellow and blue or even the red and white and will appreciate the refined comfort of the modern bathrooms clad in wood.
On the second floor are the spaces dedicated to common activities. Here unfolds the huge living room with a warm and chic atmosphere. You can enjoy an aperitif at the bar after a good day of winter sports and relax in the small lounge area facing it. You may prefer to stretch out on the large plush sofa by the stone fireplace or curl up in the rattan armchair warmed by the fur of the blankets. Illuminated by a large wooden chandelier, the atmosphere of the living room is cozy and comforting. As a group, you will enjoy gathering around the large dining room table, seated in comfortable duck blue velvet armchairs.
The architects have managed to preserve the traditional and rustic character of this magnificent chalet while adding a touch of modernity. Thus the floral edging of the curtains and the typical cutouts in the shape of bovine heads or the wooden flakes of the balustrade, for example, go perfectly with the clean, contemporary lines of the bar counter.
The top floor is entirely devoted to the master suite. With a splendid view of the Valais mountains from its private balcony, this little nest perched under the roof of the chalet is equipped, for your greatest comfort, with a king size bed, a real living room and a a superb adjoining bathroom, all in wood and marble, with separate bathtub and shower, lit by a skylight.
