Welcome to our family beach house
Come and chill out while watching the sea in our Arab-Swahili style house. It is set in a flower-filled private garden, on a promontory over-looking the sea a few metres from the beach at Mayungu. Relax and watch the fishing boats coming in and out right from the breakfast table. Listen to the Bottlebird's beautiful call early in the morning. Let the staff look after you with delightful food.
The every changingn colours of the sea are visible throughout the house across the pool and flower-filled garden. We welcome
children and there are quite a few toys, board and pool games and a table-tennis table available.

We rent the house as a whole, regardless of the number of guests. The house has 4 double bedrooms all en-suite & with air-con, nets and fans to sleep 8. We can accommodate 3 children by puting three extra beds in one or other of these 4 double rooms. We can change one of the rooms from a double bed to a twin bed if necessary. A portable (fold down) baby cot is available.
Pets are welcomed but must not enter into the bedrooms or on to the sofas.

As a guest you will be looked after by Dickson our cook, and Julius our housekeeper. Dickson cooks excellent Italian and Kenyan food, including home-made bread, pizza, and a wide range of sea food, fish and meat dishes. He can teach you pasta making if you wish!.
After booking I supply you with a menu that you can use to plan your shopping.
The house is self-catering so you must take all your food and drink.
At the bottom of the garden there is a gate to a pathway to the beach - about a 1 minute walk. One can also take the more leisurely route back along the road and down to Mayungu Beach - good for the less mobile.

The main activities at the house are relaxing, swimming in the pool, and eating. To entertain the children and us we have some toys, board games, cards, puzzles and boules. There is also a full size tennis table above the garage, with net, bats and balls available. Walking along the beach and fishing are also good local activities. A range of sites, restaurants and other activities are available at Malindi and Watamu and surrounds.
