La Villa is an elegant 19th-century villa, located in the Municipality of Monteroni d'Arbia, in one of the most beautiful landscape of Tuscany, the Val d'Arbia with its "Crete Sienesi".
Nestled in the Tuscan countryside among vineyards and woods, the villa is reached via an impressive cypress-lined avenue, bordered by hedges.
Half of the villa is the part for rent, while in the other half a member of the owners' family lives there.
The property boasts well-kept gardens with lawn and dining tables, ideal to enjoy alfresco meals.
The outdoor areas are embellished with a beautiful private swimming pool, surrounded by greenery and equipped with gazebos, sunbeds, changing rooms, shower room and barbecue. From the pool you can enjoy a breathtaking view of the surrounding landscape.
The villa is suitable for special events such as weddings, celebrations and family reunions. It also has its own private chapel.

Attractions
Immersed in one of the most beautiful Tuscan landscape, the Val d'Arbia, la Villa is located in the Municipality of Monteroni d'Arbia, near Siena.
Among Val d'Arbia are the renowned “Crete Senesi”, adored by photographers, poets and tourists from all over the world. Crete are a landscape of metaphysical beauty characterized by typical undulations clayey eroded by weather events. A good observation point to enjoy this beauty is the Abbey of Monte Oliveto Maggiore, a place of meditation and prayer, surrounded by woods, where you can admire the frescoes by Sodoma and Signorelli.
It is also worth visiting Siena and its surroundings: here you will find other medieval gems, of incomparable charm and still remained intact, like San Gimignano, Monteriggioni, Volterra and San Galgano.
Lastly, we recommend to reach the wonderful area of Chianti Classico, known worldwide for the prestigious wine to which it gives birth (the typical mark of the Gallo Nero) and for its evocative scenaries and charming villages which are along the “Via Chiantigiana”, from the nearby Greve to Panzano, from Castellina to Radda.

Interior Description
The property (550 sqm), spread over 2 floors and elegantly furnished, can sleep up to 10 people for a total of 5 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms.
The 3rd floor with other 5 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms is closed and used only if the villa is offered for 20 guests (see 20-version)
The villa has two entrances: one through french doors from the parkland at the rear, the other at the front.

Ground floor: The main entrance leads to a majestic dining hall that can comfortably accommodate 10 people, boasting what is said to be the largest sit-in fireplace in Tuscany. Near the dining room there is the the kitchen, equipped with first class professional equipment, including a food processor, dishwasher, microwave and washing machine.
Also on the ground floor is a drawing room with a vaulted ceiling and walls entirely covered with "Trompe l'oeil" paintings of exotic flowers and plants, birds and oriental tents. The drawing room has French windows opening onto the parkland to the rear of the villa.
Then you will find a bathroom with shower and a small sitting room with double sofa bed (that can become a bedroom if necessary).
Lastly, at guests' disposal a beautiful internal courtyard, featuring its own well and a loggia, ideal for outdoor meals.

First floor: The first floor is dedicated to the sleeping area. There is a spacious double bedroom (a former ballroom), characterized by frescoed ceilings, tall windows, ensuite bathroom with shower and a huge Murano chandelier. Following another double bedroom with ensuite bathroom, frescoed by Dario Neri, a famous 20th century Sienese painter.
There are also other bedrooms: 1 twin with ensuite bathtub and wash basin; a room with fireplace, ensuite bathroom with shower and 2 single four-poster beds (with the possibility of using a third single four-poster bed); 1 double with bathroom with shower.

Second floor: it's closed, it is used only for the 20 sleeps (10 bdrm) "Villa 20" offer.

The property can sleep up to 10 people for a total of 5 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms.
