On a panoramic hill in the Chianti Classico region, about 10 km from San Casciano Val di Pesa, the complex where the Villa is located is a very fine example of a medieval Tuscan castle, built on the foundations of a Romanesque building from the 10th century, and transformed into a Villa during the 15th century. The property, which is now over a thousand years old, has just been restored by its current owners who have transformed it into a summer residence. The furnishings consist largely of antique pieces. The fortified walls shelter a large terrace with a loggia and a panoramic view of the surrounding valley and a swimming pool available exclusively to guests, equipped with deckchairs and deckchairs. The castle has a lift to access the Tower, a laundry room and has Wi-Fi Internet connection, a dishwasher and a barbecue.

The nearest village offers food shops and a restaurant; the village of San Casciano Val di Pesa, with all services, is 10 km away and all the most famous towns of Chianti can be reached in about 30 minutes, as are San Gimignano, Siena and Florence. In the surrounding area, there are many restaurants offering the excellent traditional Tuscan specialties and it is possible to buy Chianti wine directly from the producers who offer tastings of great wines.
