Description of Exteriors
Located on the first floor, without elevator (27 steps), an old tower of the XI century, known as the home of the wife of the poet Dante Alighieri, Gemma Donati, who belonged to a noble Florentine lineage. Part of the apartment (dining area and kitchen) overlooks the pedestrian street of Via del Corso, one of the oldest in the city; the other part (the two rooms) is oriented towards a charming little square where the House Museum of Dante is located. The apartment is located in the heart of the historic center in a very sought-after location for its proximity to museums, artisan shops and restaurants.
Interior Description:
Large apartment, classic Florentine style (106 m2), with 2 bedrooms, 1 double sofa bed and 2 bathrooms with shower, which can accommodate up to 4 + 2 people.
Access from the entrance to a large living room, furnished with a double sofa bed, flat screen TV and dining area.
Then there is a well-equipped kitchen with a counter, a stove, a refrigerator, an oven, a microwave, a dishwasher and everything you need to cook. The floors of the day area are terracotta.
We always go from the entrance to the sleeping area, characterized by a parquet floor, with two bedrooms, both with single beds.
The apartment has two bathrooms with shower.

Fabulously appointed, luxurious apartment in Florence for those seeking comfort, privacy and exclusivity. This is a beautiful sanctuary above the fray, literally steps from the Duomo (Cathedral). Just a few minutes walk to the grocery, retail shops, restaurants, and the Uffizi. Every guest comfort has been thought out, and you'll notice finely appointed details and architectural finishes everywhere. Wonderful communication and easy transaction with our gracious host neighbour. She and her husband are experts in hospitality and strive to give the guests unique experiences for a lifetime of memories. Her extensive recommendations and hidden gems were fantastic, and will surprise and delight even a seasoned traveler to Florence. Highest possible recommendation for an unforgettable and special visit to Florence.

This was my first time staying at a rental for vacation. I think it has has spoiled me. It is a prime location, just steps away from the Duomo. It is also close to restaurants, shopping and even the grocery. The flat is amazing. From the comfortable and beautiful furniture, the posh and spacious bedrooms, bathrooms and living room, everything is well thought out and impeccably executed. We had an issue with hot water (which was the repair guy's fault for breaking something) but he finally was so helpful in addressing our needs as soon as possible. Not only was the issue fixed, he even gave us a gift to make up for any trouble. If you are going to Florence, I highly recommend staying here. On my next trip to Florence, I will be booking them up again.
