The main living area features an open plan layout, with a lounge area that flows seamlessly to include a dining area and fully equipped kitchen. The interiors are cosy and inviting, with lofty ceilings, wood-dominated decor and clean-lined furnishings.
Spend your days lazing by the turquoise infinity pool and hot tub, relaxing under the shade of the beachfront sala or feasting on scrumptious grilled items served piping hot, straight off the barbecue pit. With views out to the ocean, you’ll feel at one with the sea while taking a dip in the pool.

We could not fault our one week stay at Baan Chao Lay. It is ideal for anyone wanting to holiday in a quiet location that is only 20 minutes from the more touristy areas of Koh Samui. The villa is maintained and managed very well and the staff were all excellent, especially our full-time chef. He cooked the best Thai food we have ever eaten day after day. The villa manager was a delightful lady who offered plenty of local advice and was generally a helpful person. The beach is not ideal for swimming in July, but we spent all our time in the pool anyway. It was a very child-friendly villa and the staff were all extremely pleasant.

Hey Anna, We had an absolutely lovely time at the villa and would definitely recommend it to other friends. We'd also very much like to come back again or in one of your other villas. The staff were all really lovely. Overall there was a really nice balance of having them around when we needed them, but also having some time where we had the place to ourselves. Stand outs were Lek who was friendly and very helpful. She also took the time to look out for the kids when we (the adults) were having our meals. She also made the effort to go over and above, giving us smoothies/drinks throughout the day. Also Chef... The food was truly 6 star. We were thoroughly treated. The villa and beach were both kept immaculately. Looking forward to coming back! Cheers Lisa
