It is our 2nd anniversary and my wife and I have been looking for a place to become familiar with that we may make our own to vacation destination.. We found it..On Cat island, upon landing on this out island we were pleasantly surprised with how friendly the locals were, the caretaker took us to the groceries and liquor store and we found everything we could possibly need for our 10 day trip, including some nice bottles of wine! The caretakers, Renold and Tanny also took us by an island bakery for our anniversary dessert plus the famous bahamian bread. When we got to the house, we were gratefully surprised how comfortable and private this house felt only steps to the sea.We put the huge deck to use right away and this became our favorite location. We didn’t feel like cooking so the caretakers offered to show us the Regatta site which was right on the beach with several island food huts, our favorite was cedelles, everything we wanted was right there fresh and tasty. We drank alot of the kalik beers that night. The beach in front of the house was really easy to snorkel, we hunted a little then relaxed again in the comfy lounge chairs on the deck, we made use of the new kayaks and found a nice creek right close by, we found so many huge 10” red starfish we left those, but did get to take home some nice sand dollars. We put the bbq to work on some fresh grouper and had a gorgeous sunset dinner. Our beachfront was so quiet and away from it all we gathered up some driftwood and had a romantic bonfire. So we found it..our anniversary vacation destination, can’t wait to come by next year and see our new friends! Kaleb and Brie

The best vacation we ever had! The coral heads in front of the house were clearly pristine and the beach was gorgeous. We had Janice, the local chef, come over one night and prepare a Bahamian feast! Grouper fingers, lobster, conch salad ......and very reasonable; it was excellent! We navigated our boat another day to another deserted beach and just hung out, diving and swimming and getting tan.......we are definitely coming back!
