Israel Outdoor Activities Discover a family winery and ceramic workshops in the northern Golan Heights.

The Winery:
Odem Mountain Winery was established by Edith & Michael Alfasi in the year of 2003, after much searching, rethinking and planning. We had a shared dream upon creating a familial enterprise in the Golan Heights along with our sons' generation and out of our deep love to wine. All of these combined en route for establishing a boutique familial winery making special, creative, quality wines, but most of all – tasty.

The winery was built at our home, Odem Mountain, at the heart of Golan Heights with its north most scenery. The village is built at the height of 1,100 meters above sea level and is surrounded by a striking oak forest.
Our wines receive each year enormous success and have harvested prizes in Israel and globally, including the "Best boutique winery in Israel for 2015" award at the Israeli Terra-Vino international competition, and gold medals in the international competitions in Panama, Argentina, Spain, Paris and New-York.

We are offering you a tour of our winery, including a visit to the grapevines, along with wine tastings. Also, we host special events – from intimate romantic dinners to multi participant events.

In 2007 we turned the winery into kosher for the purpose of increasing production and export of wines abroad.

Opening Hours:
Sunday through Thursday 9:00 to 17:00
Friday 9:00 to 16:00

*If you want a tour, it is recommended to arrange an arrival time in advance : 15 ILS per person including 2 tastings.
** We can send for you bottles of wine anywhere in the world (arrival in about a week)

The Ceramic workshops:
In the same complex of the winery you can find also a ceramic shop running by Efrat- the daughter of Idit & Michael Alfasi who owns the place.
When Efrat is asked to tell about herself, she says: "I am very attached to the earth and to its power, I create out of freedom and connection to land and and earth, hence the inspiration and desire to work with clay."
We invite you to visit the ceramic shop where you can purchase different ceramic products, and participate in an hour and a half ceramic workshop where you will experience working a potter's wheel, and will create a personal ceramic piece that will be sent to your home by post.
*Participation in the workshop - by prior arrangement
**Workshop cost: 150 ILS per person ( minimum of 4 participants).
