No doubt those constructing the lighthouse on Seal Point at Cape St Francis way back in late 1875 would stand on the foundations of what is the second most southerly lighthouse on the African continent and gaze, enchanted by the sight of the magnificent stretch of wide, sandy beach with perfectly formed waves breaking on the shoreline of the bay extending some two kilometres northwards.
Some 90 years on and Cape St Francis was catapulted into celluloid immortality with American film maker Bruce Brown’s iconic film “Endless Summer” that elevated the until then unknown break off Cape St. Francis in South Africa to one of the world's most sought after surfing destinations.

Our Resort is set midway along the sandy beach, washed by the warm waters of the Indian Ocean and is ideally situated for visitors to enjoy not only the one of the finest beaches in South Africa on the doorstep of their accommodation, but indeed to all the attractions and activities that Cape St Francis and the surrounding area has to offer.

Accommodation selections are diverse and perfect for couples or families who are looking for a hassle free break that is child-friendly and laid back. The kids can bring their bicycles to safely navigate the cobbled walkways as well as their beach toys for some fun on Main Beach, while the grown-ups head off for holistic healing and a pamper session at the on-site spa. We have two swimming pools, one for resident’s use only and the other gracing the deck at the Restaurant where a jovial and relaxed atmosphere fills the air and children splash about and play. The deck is also great for chilled lunches, lazy brunches and dinner at night when you can nibble on a snack basket in the bar and watch sport on the big screen or sit down to a more formal meal in the elegant restaurant.

These apartments are equally ideal for business people as we host to many corporate functions and events. Conferencing facilities are on hand as is the restaurant, bar and spacious outdoor braai and boma set in a beautiful semi-enclosed garden. Large group bookings are easily accommodated and team building events, meals and functions can be pre-arranged.

Each apartments can be booked on either a self-catering or bed and breakfast basis.

Our 3 Conference and Function venues can cater for up to 300 delegates. With modern audio visual equipment we are a leading venue in the Eastern Cape and offer a host of Team building activities to cater for those extras.
