Beautiful house in a garden one acre large, near the touristic locations of Perigord Vert, in a protected area, quiet and relaxing place. Two large and nice bedrooms and one suite, arranged with great comfort, each one with private bathroom. Large dining room, covered terrace. Large swimming pool (46 x 20 sqfeet).
Grand Brassac is located in the heart of the Dronne Valley, one of Green Périgord’s most charming regions, which runs from Saint Jean de Côle to Aubeterre, both classified amongst the Most Beautiful Villages of France.
Along the banks of this lovely river, you will find Brantôme, known as the Venice of Périgord, its abbey, Bourdeilles and its Renaissance castle.
Spread across the hillsides and small green valleys, there are many things to see : villages, traditional markets, water-mills, castles, and notably the roman churches of Ribéracois.
We are located in Périgord’s most dense region of cupola-filled and fortified churches. Grand Brassac is known as one of the most beautiful of these.
Activities :
Canoeing and kayaking on the Dronne from Brantôme to Ribérac and beyond. The nearest starting point is at Rénamont, on the Grand Brassac commune
VTT centre in Montagrier
Horseback riding in Tocane Saint Apre, Lisle, and Bourdeilles
Rock climbing in Rochereuil, in the Grand Brassac commune, and on the cliffs of Paussac
Nautical centre and fishing in the ponds of La Jemaye, in the Double forest
