La Casona de Priorio village house is a centenarian house, built in 1870 with traditional architecture in wood and stone. It has a spacious, glazed balcony. It has been recently refurbished and was opened to public in 1999, with a 2 triscal (Celtic symbol) rating.
Our house is located 7 km away from Oviedo, very near Las Caldas, which is well known for its thermal waters.
La Casona de Priorio has 2 floors and a 255 sq. m. floor area. The bedrooms are on the second floor and have restored antique furniture.
The house, which can accommodate 9 people, has 4 double rooms with restored furniture and 4 full bathrooms. There are also cots available.

Interesting Places
Our house stands on a sunny hillside in the small village of Priorio, part of the Oviedo region. The house overlooks the peaks of the Sierra del Aramo mountains and the green valley of Nalón.
About 800 m. away, in Las Caldas, is a spa, golf course and swimming pool. Also, you can enjoy trout fishing (they must be put back) in the Nalón river. There is a wide range of adventure sports in the area, including: kayaking, mountain biking, horse riding, canyoning, etc.
For those looking for more relaxed activities, there are many tracks available for walks. Due to the house´s proximity to the Sierra del Aramo mountains, there are many routes for hiking, including the Desfiladero de las Xanas ravine, the Alba Route and the Senda del Oso track.
Its location in the centre of the region, 7 km from Oviedo, makes it the ideal base to discover the whole Region of Asturias.
We suggest you visit the Somiedo Nature Reserve or the Mining Museum. In the surrounding areas, there are many Romanesque monuments in addition to the monuments in Oviedo, such as San Juan de Priorio and San Esteban de Sograndio Churches, prehistoric caves, forts, etc.
