Our B&B is located in the heart of Bruges, in a very quiet and cosy neighbourhood adjacent to the windmills and the ancient Grand Canal of Bruges, lined by a park that encircles the centre of the town.
Our three B&B rooms offer a range of accommodation. The ground floor room has a queen size bed, a private bathroom, television and large windows with a view onto the courtyard garden of the house. On the first floor, the smaller budget room is equipped with two single beds and a washbasin, while the spacious family room has a queen size and two single beds, a television and a washbasin. Both of these rooms share a shower and toilet on the same floor. All rooms enjoy complete privacy.
The copious full Belgian breakfast including delicious freshly baked breads and rolls, eggs, cheese, bacon, coffee, tea, juice… and Belgian chocolate, is served in the cosy dining room with huge French windows and a view onto the garden and courtyard of the house, as well as the park lining the Grand Canal. If the weather permits, breakfast in the courtyard is also possible.
Your hostess is helpful, friendly and informative, and speaks Dutch, French and English.
The famous Markt (the central market square) is just a 15 minute walk past romantic medieval bridges, cloisters, museums and cobble stoned narrow streets. Free on-street parking is available in front of the B&B. Our B&B is particularly suited to families and friends travelling together and can accommodate eight adults comfortably, a cot and toys are available for children. The best bistro in town is just around the corner.

***** ROUTE BY CAR *****
You come to Bruges by highway (Antwerp-Gent-Bruges ; Brussels-Gent-Bruges ; Paris-Lille-Bruges).
At the end of the highway you will see traffic lights - drive straight ahead. W
hen you see the signpost (Sint Michiels), follow it to your right.
Drive past two roundabouts and then straight ahead. You now see some of Bruges' towers.
The road turns a little bit and you see the backside of the railway station. Follow the signpost (Centrum), staying at the right side of the road as you drive under a railway bridge after 400m.
Then you come to a big roundabout and traffic lights. Keep to your right and follow the direction (Kruispoort).
Pass two traffic lights (on your right the front side of the railway station). The road goes slightly up onto a bridge over the Canal. After the bridge there are traffic lights, keep driving ahead. Y
ou are now on the small ring road around the town and driving along the Outer Canal. Keep going straight at the traffic light where you see a medieval gate, the (Gentpoort) to your left-hand side.
When you see the second medieval gate, the Kruispoort, sort to the left and turn left to go through the gate. You are now entering the heart of Bruges.
Turn right immediately after the gate and drive along the public park, past two windmills.
Take the first street on your right called (Leestenburg). After 100 meters you turn right again and you will find yourself in (Oost-Proosse). Our B&B is on your left hand side at the end of the street, number 14.
PARKING IN BRUGES CITY CENTRE
***** ROUTE BY TRAIN *****
When you arrive by train it is very easy to come to our B&B: take bus no. 4 on the station square. The bus will drive you through the centre of the town in the direction of the (Dampoort).
Get off the bus at the stop (Sasplein).
Walk in the direction of the windmills. Behind the first windmill you take the slanting alley on your right-hand side, then the first street on your left (Oost-Proosse), and finally you walk to the end of the street, no. 14 is on the left side of the street. |
