Gheeraert B&B is a Neo-classical historical master house, quietly located in the oldest part of medieval Bruges, among the canals, at 5 min. walk from the Market Place and at 30 min. walk from the train station.
B&B with recently renovated, quiet, bright and spacious non-smoking guest rooms with private bathrooms.
Two guest rooms on the garden side with magnificient views on the baroque St. Walburga's Church. Fridge, tv., wireless internet access, hairdryer, radio, coffee and tea facilities in each room. Stylish winding staircase leads to the guest rooms on the second floor.
Royal breakfast served in the homy and bright dining room on the ground floor, around a big table, with views of the garden.
Sitting room for guests with library and ADSL internet. Warm welcome.
VISITING BRUGES AND ITS SURROUNDING
In the medieval centre of Bruges, also called ‘Venise of the North’, you can saunter all days long in the typical streets, varied by picturesque bridges, canals and squares, watching monumental historical houses or mansions with Flemish step gable architecture. You will be charmed by the peaceful atmosphere of the Beguinage, the Lake of Love and the parks as by the artistic wealth of the innumerable monuments and the important works of art in the museums.
Romantic people also can discover Bruges from a horse-drawn cab or from a boat on the canals. Sporting people have the possibility to hire a bike in town (we have a garage to store the bikes).
A mini-coach brings you to the most beautiful places, with comments provided in your own language.
During your journey you can enjoy a delicious meal, as our city is not only famous for its cultural wealth, but also for its excellent gastronomy.
The surrounding of Bruges
When you leave Bruges in the north , you arrive promptly in a green flat area, called the Polders. You can enjoy the landscape by a trip to Damme, Lissewege, Oostkerke or Sluis or by a vigorous walk or by a quiet boattrip to Damme.
From Bruges to the other Flemish cities of art
Gent, ancient historical art and university city at 45 km or 30 min. by train.
Antwerpen, city of Rubens, Van Dyck, Jordaens, Bruegel, Plantyn and international seaport, at 90 km or 60 min. by train.

It is served in our living room with view on the garden. Every morning, the host cycles with pleasure to the best bakeries!
