"La Cerisaie (The Cherry Orchard), a "chambre d'hôte de charme" which
became one of the highlights of our trip so far.
Our hosts, Annie and Louis, were indeed charming, as well as kind,
interested, interesting, hospitable and cultured. We had many enjoyable
conversations, lovely meals and informal French lessons (Annie was a German
language teacher who also speaks English). We had lovely rooms - a living
dining area, kitchen, 2 bedrooms and a bathroom. It was beautifully
furnished and decorated, warm and delightfully quiet. With Annie and Louis'
help we not only planned our exploration of this part of the Loire Valley
but also made bookings ahead. In short we were thoroughly spoiled!"
