Dordogne Valley - Cosy Property with character for rent between Sarlat (15 km) and Rocamadour (17 km).
This delightful rectory has been fully restored to create very comfortable accommodation, including television and telephone in most bedrooms. The house is set in secluded grounds opposite the château in Nadaillac de Rouge.
Nearest shopping is at St Julien de Lampon, although there is an auberge restaurant within walking distance.
The shady terrace, which runs along the back of the house, overlook the pool (5X10) and enjoys views across the countryside.
From the terrace a door leads into an inner hallway off which there is a bathroom and a double bedrooms with television and cables.
The kitchen is well equipped with microwave, dishwasher and fridge/freezer. To the left of the hallway there is a large sitting-dinning room with exposed beams, stone fireplace and a large refectory-style dining with medieval high backed chairs.
Stairs lead from the sitting room to the first floor where all the rooms have exposed beams and wooden floors. There are two large double bedrooms at either end of the house, one of which has an ensuite bathroom. Both these bedrooms have television with cables, telephone and bathroom with toilette. Between these two, there is a single bedroom.
There is a cave underneath the house with a wc and a shower, ideal for use when at the pool and close to the barn, a little room with a washing machine, additional freezer.
A lovely house, which has been thoughtfully restored to combine a delightful setting with every modern amenity.
