Situated near Loudun, Saumur, Chinon and Fontevraud in a verdant surrounding, the château of Ternay is an ideal departure point to not only visit the Loire Valley, the Puy du Fou and Futuroscope, but also to taste delectable wines from our rich land (A.O.C. Saumur, Champigny, Chinon, Saint Nicolas de Bourgueil, Coteau du Layon, Quart de Chaume and Anjou are all close by.
Come and stay in our wonderful “chambres d’hôtes” with four posted beds or alcove beds and relax in our lounges and swimming pool. Enjoy the grounds of the chateau and share our table a candle-lit dinner.
From December to the end of February, gourmets and the inquisitive can be initiated on site in the secrets of truffle hunting.
