La Banasterie is a Guest House in the heart of Avignon. Fifty meters from the Popes' Palace and just steps from the Saint-Benezet bridge, this beautiful 18th century residence, of which the Virgin with Child on the facade is classed as a historical landmark, is a wonderful stopover point.
Walls of all colors, chocolate, red ochre, Naples yellow, losing themselves in the greenery, the Banasterie offers 4 guest rooms and two suites, with refined decor and appreciable comforts. TV- video (french and english movies) or TV -DVD, some rooms are with air conditioning.)
All the rooms have bathroom with bath-tub, hair-dryers and toilets,. Beds are covered by "provençal bouti", fresh flowers in each room, and at night the house is lighted by candles that gives a particularly pleasant atmosphere.
Host can enjoy the dining room and salon, and depending on the room, a shaded terrace, a balcony or a flowering patio with a fountain and three fishes named Wanda, Carl and Harold, as well as two frogs, Reinette and Patchouli...!
