Here at Mackeanston the Graham family offer you a warm welcome and a touch of luxury in the heart of central Scotland, where you will wake to the sound of the skylark, drink in the pure air of the highlands and enjoy the panorama of lochs and mountains which make up the beautiful Trossachs area. Yet the cultural delights of Perth, Edinburgh and Glasgow are only an hour away.
Stirling Castle, the National Wallace Monument, and majestic Ben Ledi are within sight of the house, to the west lie Loch Lomond, Loch Katrine and Loch Voil, in the heart of Rob Roy McGreggor country featured in the "Braveheart" and "Rob Roy" films.
Golf Courses within 35 minutes include Gleneagles, Loch Lomond, Callander, Aberfoyle and Bridge of Allan.
Colin, a qualified Tour Guide speaking French, German and Italian, also plays the bagpipes before dinner from time to time, and this, combined with Fiona's talented and experienced cooking, makes dining at Mackeanston a memorable experience.
